Frank was still in good spirits this afternoon 25th April when he made a call to his former office from Rainsboro, Ohio. The weather was bright and mild, temperature around 15C, but with a breeze making it feel chilly. He was looking forward to his lunch, the phonebox was outside a burger bar and he was standing in just his shorts when he called. He is camping 3 days for each day he uses a motel, and he still had another good 12 miles to reach Hillsboro his target for today. He is only about 60 miles East of Cincinnati situated at the Western edge of Ohio, so he should beat the 3 week timespan he advised it could take to cross the state! Frank has been following the highway US50 since his last report in Athens but is due to make a detour to a country walk when he reaches Hillsboro, today's destination. He camped behind a church in a place called Chillicothe a couple of days ago. I feel he is still not used to walking alone as he still says everything from the "we" perspective. He explaines how he changed Alex's airline booking and put him on a Greyhound bus to Saint Louis last week after they had reached Clarksburg where Alex decided he could not continue (see last reports).
